Abiat Oleo Industries

Built in 2004, Abiat is an oil saponification plant producing soap noodles and pharmaceutical grade glycerine.

The plant produces soap noodles from neutral palm oils sourced mainly from Malaysia or Indonesia, transported in bulk to our dedicated storage terminal at Port Khalid in Sharjah. The oils are all Halal manufactured without the use of tallow in the production processes.

The plant was manufactured by a leading European supplier of soap related equipment, and is fully computer controlled.

With experienced technicians and its own dedicated process laboratory the products produced are always of a high level of quality consistency.

With so much soap finishing in the region, including within Abiat’s sister company Scitra, Abiat is in a unique position in that it is the only such facility that can provide products without the need for long lead times or high inventories.
