Established more than 30 years ago, Ditra was the first company in the Group to provide spray dried detergent powders for the local market. Today, it has evolved into a company that focuses on developing and distributing brands in the home and personal care markets - including our flagship brand TAJ.

Over the years, Ditra has ensured continued growth in the UAE market through well-established sales and distribution teams. Ditra has the logistical capabilities to supply wider regional markets, as well as Asia, Africa and Europe - each serviced by a network of assigned distributors and agents.

Ditra’s current own-brands comprise numerous leading regional household and personal care products:

  • TAJ - Probably the GCC’s most comprehensive range of home-cleaning products under one brand. The range covers every aspect of domestic care
  • Essence - A premium range of beauty soaps with full fragrances
  • VIP - An everyday, great value range of beauty soaps

Our Business

Ditra operates through dynamic core teams with key personnel empowering business at every level. Consumer-focused and partner-centered, the brand marketing team continuously evaluates market trends and consumer needs, working closely with partners and product developers to create relevant and innovative products.

The supply chain is efficient and quick. Products are mainly manufactured by Ditra’s sister company, Scitra, then distributed through a fleet of vehicles directly to groceries, supermarkets and wholesalers. This uncomplicated and rapid supply chain ensures that products are always available throughout the UAE.
