Wesgreen International School was founded in 1991, offering a first-class education following the British Curriculum.
Today it has over 2,700 students, getting education from Nursery level to Grade 13 through four separate campuses - including separate Boys and Girls secondary campuses that teach GCSEs, IGCSEs, AS and A levels. Highly regarded amongst the UAE national and expatriate communities, the school is a corporate member of the Dubai British Council and a fully accredited member of the Council of International Schools.

Our Teaching Philosophy
Early YearsWesgreen welcomes each child into a safe, happy and stimulating environment, ensuring their first experiences of education are highly positive. Teachers make sure that each child is cared for and encouraged to develop as a capable, confident and independent individual. Emphasis is also placed on teaching a variety of skills, concepts and attitudes which will form the basis for the smooth transition to formal education.
Primary SectionThe Primary section of Wesgreen concentrates on laying strong foundations for further learning. During this important phase, the school makes it a priority to establish excellence in numeracy and literacy skills.
Secondary DepartmentAt the Secondary phase, the School makes a vital change by providing students with specialists for each subject, instead of one Class Teacher. This gives students the opportunity to explore each subject in greater depth, evolving individual attitudes and personal relationships along the way.
Our Facilities
ITThe school is equipped with six state-of-the-art computer labs, incorporating the latest developments in interactive science and technology. The labs enhance the learning experience and meet the challenging educational needs of all age groups.
SportsEnthusiasm for sport permeates throughout the school. Apart from internal competitions, Wesgreen competes in numerous external tournaments including matches held at reputed venues such as Sharjah Cricket Stadium and the Sharjah Sports Club. There are separate playgrounds for football and cricket, a multi-purpose court, gym and a wide array of extra curricular activities including swimming, scuba diving and horse riding
LibraryAll campuses have a fully equipped library with a reference section and reading area. The books have been classified according to the Dewey decimal classification and the unique ’Open Access System’ that enables students to access any reading material freely. The e-library is equipped with a number of educational videos and programs.
ArtsEach campus has a well-equipped Art Room with top quality resources, allowing students of all age groups to express ideas creatively and independently. From the beginning, students work in an environment that is flexible and conducive to self-expression.
FoodThe school canteen is serviced through a private contractor, providing healthy snacks, meals and drinks.
